Natasha Marin is a conceptual artist and poet whose creative interest lies in reinscribing the sacred to the act of "art making." She is Cave Canem fellow, an Affrilachian Poet and a grant-funded community arts organizer. She divides her time between her home in Seattle, WA and her studio Vancouver, BC where she serves tea to strangers at midnight (Miko Kuro's Midnight Tea). Her work has been translated into several languages including American Sign Language and has been published in journals including the Feminist Studies Journal, the South Carolina Review, and most recently in jubilat. She serves her community as an advisory board member for the Austin International Poetry Festival and as an editorial board member for Timberline Press.
