Benjamin Myers is the author of two books of poetry: 2013’s Lapse Americana (New York Quarterly Books) and 2010’s Elegy for Trains (Village Books Press), for which he won the 2011 Oklahoma Book Award. His poems may be read in The Yale Review, Poetry Northwest, 32 Poems, Nimrod, Tar River Poetry, The New York Quarterly and many other journals, as well as on the Verse Daily website. His critical work has appeared in World Literature Today, Books and Culture, and various academic publications. He is the Crouch-Mathis Associate Professor of Literature at Oklahoma Baptist University.
