Elizabeth Raby is the author of a four-generation memoir in prose and poetry, Ransomed Voices (Red Mountain Press, 2013), which received an award from New Mexico Press Women, and four full-length poetry collections from virtual artists collective: Beneath Green Rain, This Woman (a finalist for the 2013 Arizona-New Mexico Book Award), Ink on Snow, and The Year the Pears Bloomed Twice. Raby received the Elmer Kelton Award for poetry from Angelo State University in 2010 and her work has appeared in numerous journals in the U.S as well as in Romania and China. She has lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico since 2000, where she serves on the board of New Mexico Literary Arts and runs a monthly open poetry reading with her husband, Jim Raby.
