Sherry Craven taught high school Spanish and college English. Her poetry book Standing at the Window was published by Virtual Artists Collective in 2010. She has been published in numerous journals and anthologies including AmarilloBay, Two Southwests, Windhover, descant, The Langdon Review, riverSedge, The Texas Review, Concho River Review, Writing on the Wind, and Texas Poetry 2. She won the Conference of College Teachers of English Poetry Award. She lives in East Texas and is currently writing a book about dealing with chronic pain in our culture.
